This site delivers joint authoritative science-based information on sea level change on behalf of the participating agencies. At present, it delivers foundational information to help users understand:

• What sea level change means

• What is causing sea level rise

• How sea level rise differs from region to region across the globe

• How we measure sea level changes

• How scientists create scenarios for future sea level and how to interpret those scenarios

The site also features a data explorer that allows users to interact and better understand:

• the science of past and future sea level rise from observations and the IPCC AR6 through interactive charts, graphs, and plots, coupled with audio explainers and key takeaways;

• associated impacts that sea level rise will have at specific locations, state, and regional levels on coastal flooding due to sea level rise; and

• factors that are contributing to sea level change.
